Engagements & proposals
- Project scopes, deliverables, and timelines are confirmed in writing before work begins.
- Estimates are subject to refinement after discovery; changes are communicated early.
- Either party may end exploratory discussions at any time prior to a signed agreement.
Fees, invoicing, and payment
- Fees, billing cadence, and payment methods are defined in the proposal or statement of work.
- Invoices are payable within the agreed terms; late payments may pause delivery.
- Taxes, duties, or bank fees are the client's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
Intellectual property
- Pre-existing IP remains with its original owner.
- Upon payment, the client receives rights to agreed deliverables; I may retain a portfolio right to reference non-confidential work.
- Third-party licenses (fonts, APIs, libraries) remain subject to their respective terms.
Confidentiality & data
- Information shared in discovery or delivery is treated as confidential and used only for the engagement.
- Personal data is handled per the Privacy Policy and reasonable security practices.
- Either party may request removal of shared confidential materials when no longer needed.
Disclaimers & limitations
- The site is provided “as is.” Availability and content may change without notice.
- To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from site use.
- Remedies in paid engagements are governed by the applicable written agreement.
